The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership is hosting a free two-hour workshop on digital literacy at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 at the Chicago Housing Authority Central Office located on the ninth floor at 60 E. Van Buren.
Employment counselors will be speaking on the role of digital literacy plays in building a career as well as tutoring those in attendance on how to set up email and LinkedIn accounts and offering resume-building guidance. The event is free of charge, but organizers ask that those who sign up be certain they plan to attend.
Tickets are only valid until the posted workshop start time of 2 p.m.. After that time, all attendees will be treated as walk-ins and will be seated as space allows.
