The Taproom at Lagunitas Brewing Company is hosting its next Open Books gathering on Feb. 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Ticket prices for the three-hour event are $15, with ticket price and net beer sale proceeds slated to benefit Open Books. In an online flyer promoting the event, Open Books defines its mission as being “to transform lives through reading, writing and the giving power of books.”
The organization donates approximately 175,000 books to children annually and boasts of having engaged more than 6,000 youth across the city through its literacy programs.
“Delicious bites, quirky entertainment and giant games" will be part of the menu at the Feb. 25 event, with last pour slated for 8:10 p.m.
