How old is your business?
We opened our GYMGUYZ franchise location in January 2021.
How long have you been in the neighborhood?
We're brand new to the West Loop as of January 2021
Why the West Loop?
The West Loop is an exciting mix of people, culture and business. The people living and working in the West Loop are just the kind of busy professionals that need and appreciate our unique brand of personalized service and Convenient, Customized and Creative workouts.
What are your top challenges in growing your business?
Like every other business, we're trying to grow revenue and manage costs. At the same time, we are all operating in this new world that has been brought to us via COVID-19.
Why did you join the West Central Association?
We're a relationship business. We want to be part of the communities that we serve.
What makes your business unique?
Convenient, customized, and creative: GYMGUYZ comes to you. We create a customized fitness program for you. We listen to you and work with you to achieve your fitness goals.
What gets you up in the morning?
Running my own business. It's incredibly challenging and rewarding. It can keep you up and night, and definitely gets you out of the bed in the morning.
What’s your favorite part of the West Loop?
I love the energy of the West Loop. I love the pulse of business, night life and living. It's a great neighborhood.
What does the future look like?
The future looks bright! The past year has brought incredible challenges to the fitness business. At the same time, people are focused more than ever on health and wellness. We're glad to be able to help people in the comfort and convenience of their homes.

My fitness journey is probably similar to many of my customers. Extra pounds and health challenges brought me to fitness. It led me to the gym, to endurance sports, to personal trainer certification, and to better health. Now, it's my business.
