As we head into the holiday season and the COVID-19 pandemic continues to alter the state of business in Chicago, we are checking in with local businesses to see how they’ve pivoted their business structure and what they are most thankful for this year! Read below to learn what Blowout Junkie, 1219 W. Madison St., has been up to lately.
Blowout Junkie is a hair and makeup salon specializing in blowouts and special event hairstyles and makeup.
The following questions were answered by Blowout Junkie Director of Operations Kiley Cleckner.
How have you adapted your business to the pandemic?
We've reduced our capacity, so you might see only one or two stylists in the salon. Tools, products, and all touch points are sanitized between each use.
What have you found has been the most successful adaptation or transition?
Being flexible with our clients. We are able to provide private events and at home services to anyone who inquires for no additional cost.
