Chicago Public Library - West Loop Branch issued the following announcement on Sept. 11.
Families looking for a way to play and learn with your preschooler at home: Play kits are now available at to take home Chicago Public Library locations citywide. No library card needed, these kits are yours to keep. Kits were developed in partnership with Chicago Children's Museum and the Chicago Public Library Foundation.
Play is an important part of helping children learn and grow. These fun, hands-on activities are perfect for the whole family! Learn more about ways to use these kits and get some great book recommendations in our Play with the Three Little Pigs blog post.
Each kit includes a tote bag, a booklet with six play activities in English and Spanish, and materials to do the six activities, plus book recommendations for each activity.
Kits are available while supplies last. To ensure a kit is available at your preferred CPL location, please call ahead.
