Chicago Public Library - West Loop Branch recently issued the following announcement.

When: Monday, August 3, 2020

12:00PM – 7:00PM

Description:

Every two weeks, kids registered for the Summer Learning Challenge can pick up a bag full of age-appropriate materials for crafts, projects and activities at Little Italy Branch. Bags will remain available until we run out.

Additional projects using the bag materials will be sent out via a weekly e-mail newsletter full of projects, resources and links to online library events. Sign up for the newsletter online.

Our third two-week bag contains the following materials:

Older Kids (Ages 6 and up)

  • Coloring/Activity Sheets
  • Reflection Forms
  • Mosaic Project
  • Straw Structures Project
  • Homemade Snow Globe Project
  • Frank Lloyd Wright-Inspired "Stained Glass" Project
*If you do not have LEGOs or other building materials at home, please speak to a librarian at the Little Italy Branch.

Younger Kids (Ages 2 to 5)

  • Coloring/Activity Sheets
  • Reflection Forms
  • Play-Doh Kit
  • Bag Puppet Kit
  • "Stained Glass" Project
  • Homemade Snow Globe Project
