Like many once industrial neighborhoods in big cities (think SoHo and the East Village in New York City, for example), it is no secret that the West Loop is gaining on The Loop and downtown Chicago as the place to be. Including the place to be living and walking to work and the amenities that make a neighborhood liveable.
A West Loop initiative is educating youth and adults in the arts and utilizing their talents to spread positive messages for the whole community to notice.
Many young Chicago artists and performers who dedicate themselves to entertaining crowds with amazing talent often face financial setbacks and a lack of available educational resources that limits their potential from shining on stage.
